Every journey is different, but this is what you can generally expect when we work together.

A free opportunity to discuss what's been happening, ask questions and decide whether I'm the right Dietitian for you. If I don't think I'm the best person to help, I'll always tell you.
Before your first appointment, I'll invite you to complete “Your Journey So Far”. It helps me begin to understand your health, symptoms, lifestyle, priorities and what you're hoping to achieve, so we can make the very best use of our time together during your first appointment.
Your first consultation is about helping me confirm my understanding of you and your situation. Together, we'll clarify the health, symptoms, eating patterns, daily life, expectations, priorities and goals you've described in “Your Journey So Far.” We'll make sense of what's been happening, identify the questions that matter most, consider where nutrition could make the greatest difference, and agree the first dietary changes that are most likely to support your health and the goals that matter most to you.
Following your consultation, you'll receive the first additions to your personalised Journey Collection—a tailored set of recommendations designed to support you as you work towards the goals that matter most to you.
Depending on your individual needs, it may include educational resources, personalised one-day menu examples, practical meal ideas and behaviour change strategies.
Over time, your Journey Collection becomes a carefully selected toolbox of ideas and resources to help you navigate the opportunities and challenges that your journey may bring.
Health is rarely static. We age, symptoms fluctuate, circumstances change and life doesn't always go to plan.
As we work together, we'll continue to review what's working well, what has changed, and where new opportunities or challenges have emerged. As your health, symptoms, priorities and goals evolve, we'll adapt your dietetic approach to ensure it continues to support you in the best way possible.
The aim isn't to keep starting again. It's to build on what you've already achieved, helping you develop an approach that continues to work with your body, your situation and your life.
My aim is that, over time, you feel increasingly confident in understanding why, what, when and how to eat in ways that support your health.
By understanding the thinking behind your personalised dietetic approach, you'll be better equipped to adapt your eating as your health, circumstances and priorities change. Rather than relying on a set plan, you'll have the knowledge, confidence and practical tools to make informed decisions that continue to support your health and wellbeing.
Ultimately, my hope is that you leave our work together feeling clearer, more confident and better equipped for whatever your journey brings next.
